DayTrade Engine is a hobby project by MGBA Solutions. You can use the backtester without an account; an account is only needed to save runs and compare them. We keep as little as possible and never sell or share it for advertising.
What we store

Cookies and browser storage
Only what's needed for the site to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in (30 days) and a CSRF cookie that protects your account from forged requests from other websites. No analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. Your unsaved settings and your browser-only strategy library are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Where it's stored
- Database: Neon (Postgres), in the EU (Frankfurt).
- API server: Render, in the United States. Requests pass through it; it doesn't keep them.
- Website and DNS: Cloudflare.
- Emails (confirmation and password reset): sent through an email delivery service.
Market data is fetched from third-party data sources; your personal data is never sent to them.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time: sign in, open the menu under your email address (top right) and choose Delete account. This removes your email, password and all saved runs immediately.
